If you have cable TV or Satelite TV, you may have access to a relatively new channel called ZDTV. Ziff-Davis is a publisher of many computer magazines, and now they have put together an "ALL COMPUTERS - ALL THE TIME" channel.

As I sit here writing this, I am surrounded by 4 computers, my trusty HP LaserJet 4+ printer, keyboards, monitors, numerous cable and a TV. That TV is tuned to ZDTV nearly all the time (Jeopardy! is an exception).

I strongly recommend that you give this ZDTV a try. Some of it tries to be a little too hip, and some of it is of little or no interest to me (such as games). The two shows that I think are the best are hosted by a guy named Leo LaPorte. I find myself in agreement with much of what he says. His show "Call for Help" is a call-in show, with an interesting twist. Not only does he take telephone calls, but e-mails, v-mails and net cams He shows callers how to fix their problems. Or he gives them the "bad news" - time to re-load Windows!

Two of the best things to come out of that show are the phrases "It's not your fault" and "Personal Confuser". For those of you who have been with DATOW for many years, you know that we are a strong supporter of the first phrase. If the people that make computers and operating systems really knew what they were doing, you would not have so many problems. Therefore, the phrase: "It's not your fault."

The Personal Confuser is what most Personal Computers have become for too many of you.

We will keep this rave short and leave you with a strong recommendation that you check out ZDTV. If you cannot do that, at least go to their web site: zdtv.com

Be sure to send us your thoughts.
